Off day activities (if needed) include visiting places like Wakita, Oklahoma and the Twister Museum on a custom tour, Greensburg, Kansas, site of the first devasting EF5 tornado and the exhibit there, the Tim Samaras memorial in El Reno, National Parks like Garden of the Gods in the Rockies, Colorado, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands South Dakota, and much more! It is important to be wary of those that don’t operate with a fleet of tour ready vehicles and a team of professionals to keep you safe with a successful outcome for your touring efforts.

Any tour company worth their salt will have a team of dedicated professional tour guides that are well versed in not only storm chasing, but the operations of directing and keeping a group of storm hungry guests safe, properly lodged and fed while being successful in finding the right storms. Each one of our team members is a professional storm chaser, not only when operating with us on tour, but at all times on their own time, year around. Our team is the new guard of storm chasing, Each one of our team members is a prolific storm chaser in their own right, and you have likely seen them or their work on national television or in the media. All of our forecast meetings include our entire team, and that helps us to put our minds together to create the safest and most successful storm chasing opportunities for our tour guests!

When operating you will always have two guides in each of our specially modified storm chasing tour vehicles, a dedicated driver and a navigator/radar tech. Our front vehicle houses our team Meteorologist, Jacob Romero, one of the most experienced storm chasing Meteorologists around with over 8 years of chasing under his belt. This allows him to oversee weather and radar communications and guide our tours in tandem with our veteran Tour Director Kailee Ann following up in the rear vehicle. Our Tour Director concentrates on the overall intent of the tours as a whole while Jacob applies his professional skills to the weather. Together Kailee and have Jacob have been guiding the tours this way since 2015 and have logged literally hundreds of tornadoes together this way. Our drivers’ sole purpose is to keep an eye on the road, period. And even then, our drivers are all professional storm chasers themselves, so they know what to expect in the adverse conditions we sometimes encounter.

The vehicles you travel in are just as important, you don’t want to be crammed into a vehicle with two other guests, two guides and a mountain of luggage for days at a time. Storm chasing tour vehicles should be spacious tour vehicles. Each of our vehicles is specially modified for storm chasing with an array of technological and safety minded upgrades that makes our fleet the best in the industry! Even though our vehicles can carry 3 people not including the guides, we never load them full and remove the middle seats in all vehicles. to give ample room for your luggage and gear, and the coolers we bring for ice cold drinks on the go. Home style power banks and USB chargers are available front to back, as well as our 17” drop down LED monitors for sharing our radar data, entertainment like the movie “Twister” and our video game systems for those long drives. Upgraded sound systems with Satellite radio rounds out the entertainment aspect, Safety features for all of our vehicles include an OSHA approved first aid kit and fire extinguisher, tool kit, side external lighting for low light condition guest ingress/egress, and directional rear amber hazards for our off-road stops providing increased visibility of our operations to other chasers/motorists. Communications between our team and vehicles is very important, and we are able to have crystal clear comms at all times with our 3G 4G 5G Cell. Single Boosters. These allow us to be in constant communication at all times regardless of cell phone connectivity which is vital in storm chasing situations.

OUR TOUR VEHICLES AND EXPERIENCE

Each tour vehicle holds 2 guests affording each a comfortable window seat without crowding. The vehicles are equipped with Sirius XM radio, power banks for guests with USB and home-style power. We have onboard high-quality computer systems that operate our radars and navigation, all within view of the guest via 17″ HD monitors that we also use to show movies like Twister! Our professional storm chasers who drive the vehicles are educated, experienced, and have your safety as their number one priority. Their goal is to give you the best opportunity in your lifetime to witness the beauty of Tornado Alley and get as close as possible to Mother Nature’s magnificent storms. Bring your cameras, as these are once-in-a-lifetime memories you will want to capture!

TOUR FEES AND DISCOUNTS

The fee for our tours varies and can be found under the “Book Tour” tab by selecting a specific tour. Pay by using a credit card (additional fees apply), bank transfer option or a mailed cashiers check. A deposit of $750 is required to secure your seat.

SHARED ROOM SAVINGS:

For traveling with a pre-determined partner in your group. We do not matchmake room sharing. Shared room discount applies to each tour seat individually. Selecting this discount will be available upon checkout when purchasing more than one tour seat on the same tour. Please contact us prior to booking if sharing a room with three or more guests for an additional coupon code and details. Savings amount varies based on tour length. discounts vary by tour.

We offer credit / debit card processing through Stripe for your convenience, but it does have an associated fee. (Credit Card payments and mailed checks are only accepted for those in the U.S. or Canada, those outside of these countries must make payment using our bank transfer payment method only) If you’d like to avoid the added cost, choose our Bank Wire Process (International or Domestic), or select the Mail In Check option. If reserving a tour with a deposit, the final amount must be paid using the same method as you used to make the deposit. Any discounts will be applied to the final payment and not the deposit amount if reserving with a deposit.
